BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

£50,000 Total Comp. (£30,000 plus £20,000 bonus if KPIs achieved)

Opportunity to run your own account & build your own team in a fast growing FoodTech firm in London.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts.

You will work closely with the co-founder to build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers
  • Candidate must be comfortable with cold-calling
  • Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
  • Uncover new business opportunities within the client base
  • Develop & help maintain new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact
  • Provide smooth transition of accounts to the sales support staff through effective internal communications and proper documentation
  • Conducting online marketing research on the new business leads
  • Use of Happy Joe CRM to provide details as activities that may lead to documented opportunity that is transitioned to sale
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet or talk with potential clients
  • Explain products or services in detail

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year sales experience
  • Passion for sales & making money
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks
  • Must be a goal-oriented, persuasive, self-motivated and independent worker
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and be efficient in meeting deadlines
  • Past achievement in new and expanded client business generation

MARKETING ASSOCIATE (KICKSTART)

This is a Kickstart Scheme position (candidate must be aged between 16-24 and on, or have applied for, Universal Credit).
We are looking for a capable Marketing Associate to support our company’s marketing strategy. This is a big opportunity to contribute towards the marketing strategy for a fast-growing FoodTech firm in London.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who has a genuine passion for marketing. They will work closely with the growth team on building marketing campaigns, creating dynamic written, graphic and video content, managing the companies brand, analysing the report data on these campaigns and ultimately growing the apps userbase. They must proactively deliver innovative campaigns to maintain engagement across all social channels. They must also optimise content through search engine optimisation, manage all communications, write and distribute e-newsletters to subscribers and work with the wider team to deliver and build the Happy Joe brand.
Requirements
This is a Kickstart Scheme position (candidate must be aged between 16-24 and on, or have applied for, Universal Credit).
  • Team player with organisational skills
  • Reliable
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A marketing (or related) degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year marketing experience, a passion for startups and entrepreneurship, a demonstrated ability to originate, execute and analyse a marketing campaign.
They must be self-motivated and independent worker. They must be able to work well under pressure and be efficient in meeting deadlines.
